Summit Powder Mountain Competition

– Location: Powder Mountain, Utah, USA

– Service: Architectural Design

– Area: 120 m2

– Client: Summit

– Description:

Our team has developed two entries to the Mountain Architecture Prototype (MAP) Design Competition presented by Summit Powder Mountain. The aim of this competition was to develop a cabin structure which would become a module house for Summit’s Community of Entrepreneurs. Respecting the site and geographic region, retaining views, sustainability, use of natural materials and engaging of this module within grouping were the main issues that we had to solve in our designs. Trying to find creative solutions for these issues, led to designing two modules with different articulations.
