Located in a prime area near Al-Sheikh Zayed Street in the Barsha district of Dubai, this hotel is designed to be a striking urban icon. The building’s massing is carefully articulated to ensure that each guest room benefits from natural light and ventilation, while also providing a shaded public courtyard that remains comfortable throughout the year. To address the challenges of Dubai’s intense sunlight and heat, the hotel’s glass facades are treated with a mesh system that reduces solar gain without compromising the aesthetic appeal of the building.
The hotel program includes service and parking areas in the basement levels, with the ground and first floors dedicated to public spaces such as the reception, restaurant, and other guest amenities. Guest rooms are housed in the 11 typical floors, offering privacy and comfort. At the top, the hotel features a restaurant and an indoor pool, taking full advantage of the stunning city views. Each space within the hotel was carefully considered in relation to both the front-of-house guest areas and the back-of-house services, ensuring efficient operations and a seamless guest experience.
