Located on the outskirts of Amman, FF Residence sits on a large, open plot that allows the architecture to unfold as a sequence of experiences rather than a singular gesture. Concealed greenery lies between the main building and a perforated outer wall, offering glimpses of nature and establishing a sense of intrigue and privacy. As the visitor moves around the residence, the architecture shifts dramatically. A vast swimming pool lies directly beneath a bold cantilevered upper floor, blurring the threshold between solid and void. This hovering volume creates shade and drama, while also extending the horizontality of the house toward the landscape.
Inside, spaces emphasize fluid connections between indoors and outdoors: the living room overlooks the pool through a corner window. The vertical journey through the house is equally defined by light. The stairwell is illuminated by a generous side-facing opening, while a large skylight floods the upper floor with daylight. This light-filled passage leads seamlessly into the private bedrooms, where serenity and openness frame views of the surrounding context.
